Patrice Hawthorne is a native of Anderson, South Carolina.  She is a multi-talented writer, producer and entertainer. In 1996, Patrice received a BS in Health Education from Clemson University.  She continued her studies at Clemson and received a masters in Youth Development Leadership in 2007.  Patrice has worked with various youth serving organizations such as; the Boys & Girls Club, Head Start, Teenage Pregnancy Prevention and the Youth Advocate program. She is admired by her ability to reach youth via drama and arts. She has a heart for youth.  Through her life experiences she seeks to mentor and assist youth as well as their families in achieving that true potential she believes that they all posses.


In 2000, Patrice began writing skits which later grew into large scale productions. In her productions, she sees the need to stress to youth and families realistic life scenarios which they are faced with today’s society.  Community threats consist of: teen pregnancy, STD's, HIV/AIDS, alcohol and drug abuse and gang violence.  Performances have been held throughout the Upstate and surrounding counties. Patrice has produced highly acclaimed plays such as "Get Ready! Your Change is About to Come", Where is My God?” A Love with Two Faces", "If the Truth be Told", "And Mama Prayed", "Thug Love"and coming soon, "If these Walls could Talk." Patrice’s performances draw audiences from all walks of life with their stylish blend of comedy, dance, music and drama.
